The Strand Avian Society

The Strand Avian Society was commissioned by Now Play This, and developed by me, Arlo Howard and Chloe Mashiter. The project was produced by Nick Murray with design and illustration by Viviane Schwarz. The piece was developed through a collaboration with the Strand Aldwych and City Lions, and through collaborative workshops with young people in Westminster and Now Play This audiences.

The Strand Avian Society is a site-specific game designed to be played on the Strand. Part street-game, part architectural scavenger hunt, the Strand Avian Society invites players to look at the urban landscape from a non-human perspective.
