Writing

I often write in possible futures or alternate realities, endlessly intrigued by the opportunity that play offers to investigate perspective and point of view. This work ranges from sci-fi futures, like Aether, to Day 4577, which imagines a world 4577 days after the revolution. My work often takes the form of fragments - bits of a story that can be mixed, reformed, added to, taken away. This spans from fixed data bits & bytes, as in cloud, to open participatory worldbuilding, as in branch.

I write mainly for playful and digital media - webpages and video games. I like the flexibility of this written word - text that slips and disappears, or can be fundamentally changed by the person reading it. My writing is surreal, sci-fi and non-linear, often inviting puzzling and play from it’s reader.
